Email addresses

Like a lot of people I used my Barrysworld email address to register for steam. Now that email account doesnt work anymore, I wonder if there will be any problems in the future with Steam ?
And , indeed, does anyone know how to change their email address ? Thanks

You cannot, if you do re-register your account with a different e-mail using the same CD key then your account(s) could both be banned from the steam network.

Reading threads on the steam forums suggests that it doesnt matter if your e-mail address is valid or not. If that changes in the future I am sure that they will offer a way to change your address.

Of course when HL2 eventually appears you can always register using a now valid e-mail address.
