I think previously sub based games going f2p is a sign of them going down hill.

Therefore DAOC is and always will be an excellent game.

Were all previous sub based games, all of which are doing perfectly well.

I think the ESO problem was it was overhyped and just didn't feel like an MMO at all, it just felt like playing Skyrim with the odd person running around near you now and again, there was no real MMO feel or interaction, it was pretty shite sadly and the PvP was just as horrid.

ESO's main issue was pvp balancing.

(Seriously... Dragon knights wtf!!)

Enjoyed it for a while. Then as more and more people realised the FOTM builds were utterly retarded... It got gradually less and less fun.
