Effects of parry

in terms of parry and DW characters is it worth taking pary higher than 39 (39+11), what about adding MoParry 2 to 4 on top of that would the effects be significant.

Neither parry nor shield has the diminishing returns after 50 that some other skills have. They always give the extra 0.5% chance to parry/block.

You will notice the difference with mastery of parry.

Naturally both are far more important in PvE than RvR, as you're far more likely to be attacked there. If your support classes are down in RvR (which is usually when fighters are attacked), then better parry won't save you.
