Economic Collapse or blip?

So china is kinda fucked economically ( first real economic bubble crash since capitalism re-introduced ), and the contagion/fear is predicted to hit us big ( worse than yesterday ).

I'm not really sure I buy into the doom mongering, but oil hit $38/barrel yesterday and things are getting a bit weird.

China's ability to reliably report on its economy seems to have been in doubt for years. I heard they predict growth by measuring power consumption.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the world realised that China was falsely releasing figures, but then they reaised if they released China's true figures, the global economy would collapse - hence why it's fixed itself today.
