Do you use it, and if so whats the last thing you brought from there?

Personally I think ebay is one of the best creations since those little gummy milk bottles with fizzy stuff on them, always have had good experiences from there (luckily) and found some really great stuff

The last thing i brought was a "Lateral Thigh Trainer" for £40 all in, saw it advertised on telly and thought Hmm looks nifty (seeing as i've no room for a a bike) but then choked when i was it was ninety quid plus something extortionate for P&P, can't wait for it to arrive so i can stand about and wiggle my butt like Ned Flanders in his new ski suit!

You need 12 masters degrees and 300 PhD's to work out how to create an ebay account. Far far far too complicated. Oh and about 12 years of your life to type all the shit in. Ebay has been abused more times than Garry Glitter's child victims. Its got more shit on it than Elton John's love rod. Ebay sucks. And they charge you like 200% of your P&L as commission ! Fuck you Ebay

I'm a 15 y/o and managed to set it up using dads details :p

Ebay is great, provided you look for the right items. An example i'll use is Lacoste Shoes. The Camden Retro range are in shops for 55 quid (checked JD Sports like a week ago) and on ebay their 35-40 quid + 5 quid P&P. It's a small saving of 10 quid but it's a saving.

And yes, comission charges suck but it's how they make money i guess :>

And Margate rocks. We have a new big wheel here now :>

Someone on FH posted a funny link: 'Bird Flu ointment for cuckoo clocks' ROFLMAO

And the thing is someone prob bought some.

I got an idea. Given that Americans are the most gullible race on the planet, particularly religious Americans, how about selling "Biblical Air ! Breathe the air Jesus himself may have expelled !". Bottle it and sell it for $75 a pop.

Actually since the air we inhale and exhale never leaves the planet and just changes space and form, much like water, it is duely possible that we're breathing the same air that the possible bearded fella did.

I'll make you an offer you can't refuse though:

Buy holier then jesus water now! Possibly the Water that jesus didn't change to wine! Might be because jesus couldn't! Only 89.95$ a bottle! Even the pricetag is so holey that it's on the wrong side!

My bf got ripped off whilst selling a game on ebay....we still cant work out how this one happened...

He sold the game, the guy sent the cash via Paypal, the cash cleared so my bf sent the game away, next day the cash suddenly got transferred back to the guy by Paypal (they refunded him) - and the game got delivered (we checked the special delivery slip) - so the guy managed to get a game for free basically, and my bf's Paypal is now in minus credit (so he owe's Paypal the money for the game now = meaning my bf has paid for the game twice now!)

After numerous emails to ebay and Paypal we have been given no reason for why this has happened - and the guy ignores all our emails etc - he's still on Ebay now probably pulling the same scheme with loads of people.

You would think it would be someone you buy from that would rip u off, not someone u are selling to!

Interesting Pay Pal is normally very good, and authorise all transfers (which havnt been requested by the user) with a 10 day email period where they speak to both partys to find out what happened...

Never had trouble with PayPal Myself...

Ebay is full of cammers though so you have to be carefull...

My Brother once brough an Xbox Box... for £120... recieved the box fine... nothing inside... lol

I dont think they emailed my bf to ask what happened :(

The only thing we can think of is the dude buying the game has told Paypal that the game never arrived, so they've given the money back to him - we've tried emailing Paypal with the Post Office postal number thing to prove its been signed for etc but they dont give a toss.

Use ebay quite a lot, buying and selling.

Last thing I bought was a lovely top that I fancied, and ebay even got me back in touch with someone in my form in high school Oo

I was thinking how much I could get if I tried to sell myself. Must be worth a couple of pounds at least, and no p&p as I can drive myself etc.
