Just watched this movie last night and i have to say what a great film.

Colin Firth, as always, plays a great role in the movie but pretty much all the cast help to make this a really well spent time. I recommend it to one and all.

Link for trailer attached.

haha i saw it when it first came out; bloody cracking film and love the 20s version of 'sex bomb' hehe, another good one, which you have probably seen as it's quite old now is 'the importance of being earnest' with colin firth and rupert everett, really funny stuff and judi dench is hillarious in it.

Sorry for the slow reply, been preparing for massive Board Meeting so a wee bit busy.

There are a couple of good songs in there, Billy Oceans "When the Going Gets Tough" was a nice touch at the end. The film itself really took me back to my school days and some of lines are what i honestly consider the best of British.

watch

The first 30 secs are just

Or ....

Smile Marion!!

I dont feel like smiling :(

You're English dear, fake it.

It had me in stitches and at times really sad as well.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!

The Importance of Being Ernest was required reading at school and like pretty much all Oscar Wilde books great comedy. I have seen it - the film - in passing a couple of times on TV but want to watch it from the beginning so switched over, quickly. I am sure it will be on again soon and my timing better.
