Yeah I know its October, but they were discussing this on the radio tonight.

Does the chocolate in Easter Eggs taste better than a bar of the same chocolate ?

Most people said yes. Its bizarre. Its the SAME chocolate but ppl said cos its in the shape of an egg, it tastes better.

My view - I tend to agree - but only for a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate Easter egg. Otherwise, I disagree.

What do you think ?

Milkyway bars are better than the eggs tbh. I don't complain when eating any since they taste phenominal (sp)

It's because in choclad eggs, the chocolate is like it should be. Thin.

You don't munch down a mouthfull, but infact get quite a crapsample of the choclad...but it's exactly like it should be.

With big mouthfilling bites, the egg would taste the same.

Try it, buy a chocciebar and use a knife(or whatnot) to scrape just a bit of it, make it into a small pile of choccieflakes and then eat it.

Choccie refining 101 people :)

By the way, it's because when you fill your mouth with coco, it kills the tastebuds. Coco is rather potent, just try raw coco.

I found that particularly ironic, because I eat farts all day and lay eggs at night...

We should mate....imagine kids who could fart all day and night, whilst laying eggs...

or we could get loser kids who cant do either :(

egg chocolate is better as it is more crunchier.

Hmm, interesting point. I feel the same way about pasta stuff, like macaroni, spaghetti and all the other various forms of pasta. For some reason the different forms tastes different.

meh, nowhere near as good as a pre-2002 mars bar from the fridge which used to be rock solid. The new ones are like old style milky ways* with caramel.

*and don't get me started on Mars turning Milky Ways into sweet sickly crap.
