hi all i wonder if i can have your opinions, i am thinking about respecing my 50 ice wizz to earth :eek2: and i wonder if there is anyone out there who has had a 50 earth and can tell me what they think.
If you only intend to ever go to keep defence/attack and have the most boring job on the field then do so...if you intend to still have a bit of fun and randomness then stay as an ice wizard
Havent tried this myself yet, but i will be going:
43 earth
--------
highest gtaoe - for keep attack/defence
highest aoe root
second highest aoe dmg+snare
second highest dot (single)
second highest earth bolt - combine it with the base line fire bolt
and second highest dmg shield
i have one of each (ice and earth) on prydwen atm.. lowish level but.. earth wizzy is kinda fun to play i can even park her at apk in emain and double bolt peeps who come too close for a laugh
but.. yeah.. earth seems a specialist spec, ice more an rvr spec. having said that.. i think we gonna see a LOT more keep takes soon... and i mean a HELLUVA lot more.. so maybes earth wizzies gonna get as much action as ice wizzies (iand think about it.. someone doing a keep raid.. they aint gonna turn u away are they? u got the tools hehe )
if u wanna do dmg at range, fire is your fwiend, especially if you know a body sorc.
Earth wizards are fucking GREAT in keeps be it defense or attacking, and in relic raids theyr invaluable for keeping certain choke poinks clear of PBAOE for the grunts to go thru etc.. if you have another char that youl regularly play in normal rvr instead id sugest Earth if u enjoy your keeptake
Been an Earth wizard now for about 6months, and after tonights DR i will be an Ice Wizard.
Earth is great when you could park yourself in a popular raided Keep eg Beno and cause havoc to an enemy force, and the earth bolt is a one hit mage killer, but other than that dream on about ever getting a group PVE or RVR.
I will respec to ICE as it is now the only viable spec.
