No please reply again, I like wrestling, it is fun and brainless entertainment. I have been to a few live shows and it is very apparent how little contact there is. It looks better on TV, they choose good camera angles. Someone getting their face smashed in with a ladder in wrestling means that someone screwed up. UFC etc are real fighting, WWE etc are stunt men and performers putting on a good show.

Im not saying there is always contact but if getting thrown and knowing how to land is not a skill i do not know what is. And i accept its all a show im just saying not just everyone could step in there and do that.

Well, if he doesnt stick it at WWE/ECW TNA is the only likely company to head too for RVD. At the moment RVD is very low in the pecking order by all accounts, firstly because of when he was champion being caught with the drugs, but also because recently he refused to go to Iraq to "support the troops".

Vince didnt take too kindly to that, but after what happened 2-3 weeks ago im sure Rob was chuffed he refused after that Mortar attack. Also, the removal of Paul Heyman will be playing a part in his likely decision to leave WWE.

Cant see ECW lasting that long now anyway

The last WWE (hell it might even've been WWF, it was a while back) I watched was a no-holds-barred between Triple H and Mankind/Cactus Jack/Mick Foley or whatever he was called at the time. T'was great.

I don't usually post on the fourm, but i browse it quite often. After that comment though i couldn't help but give my opinion. UFC fighters in general are far fitter than WWE wrestlers. Firstly, UFC is real combat and although it is either x3 or x5 rounds of 5 minutes the intensity of the fight is amazing and requires extreme fitness and skill. The only skill i would attribute to WWE fighters is their ability to choreograph a 'fake' fight. Sure it takes effort and training, but UFC undoubtably takes much more.

As has previously been mentioned in the thread wait until the Ortiz Vs Liddell fight on the 30th (shown on Bravo on the 1st i think) to see the fitness and ability of proper UFC fighters, it's going to be a great fight. C'mon Ortiz!
