I've received a couple of blue screen errors on my pc :(

The error says DXGKRNL and then completes the memory dump before I can read much more. On googling this I keep seeing people talk about Direct X issues on Nvidia card. I have an ATI X1950Pro.

My first plan is to update the Direct X drives. I can only seem to find a DXwebsetup.exe link off of the Microsoft site. My questions are;

1) Vista is DX10, yet my card is a DX9 model. Is there any specific driver I should look for, or just install this program and hope for the best?

2) Has anyone experienced this and found a cure?

To stop your computer restarting quickly do this:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Type Advanced in the search panel at top right
3. Click on the one called View Advanced System Settings.
4. Click on the settings window on the Startup and Recovery.
5. Untick the Automatically Restart option under System Failure.

This should keep the BSOD up until you restart the computer.
