DVD Software.

Guys,

Any recommendations for a decent piece of software to play DVDs on a Pc.

Since upgrading to Win2K, mine doesnt seem to want to work.

Aparently if you install a Trial version then Media Player can then use the installed codec for an unlimited time.
I'm not 100% sure on which versions of media player that involves though and how you go about doing it.

I don't think DVD's are very popular. I'd much rather prefer to install things by using 4 billion floppy disks.

It's a toss-up (oo-er) between WinDVD and PowerDVD. I personally use WinDVD, but there are a number of freeware apps out there too. Have a looky at Doom9's software page for some.

I found NVDVD better than Power DVD, although you have to have an nVidia card

Only prob now is that my region changing thing hs run out an only watch asian region DVD's now

PowerDVD is the only DVD software. Plus is works very well with my Logitech Navigator keyboard. nvDVD needs work.

Also make use of DVD Genie so I can change the region at will and as often as I like...

For my Lite-On I've got a nifty utility to change the region as many times as I like.
