DVD Burning Experts in here please

I need to burn a 3.7GB folder to DVD to transfer it to a PC that I don't have a crossover cable long enough to reach. I have a DVD-RW drive and a nice shiny 4.7GB TDK disc to use, but I've never done this before. Could anyone advise me quite simply which program to use to do this? I've downloaded Nero 6 but it's not clear about how burning files to DVD is accomplished.

Use Nero Burning ROM, then use the DVD ISO option. I don't use Multisessions, I think that's a RW feature. If you don't need long file names and want the DVD to be compatible on older versions, use the standard ISO options. Edit the Label to what you desire. Skip the Dates/Misc, then choose your Burn speed, I tend to just Write and don't bother with an AV scan.

You should then see a folder type view, drag what you want to burn to the DVD root. Hit burn, then burn again. Should be all you need to know.
