Hi. I've got a folder full of an image sequence of some CCTV footage from work. I've basically taken the output from the CCTV (a .60d file), stripped all the cameras out I don't want and captured the .60d with hypercam, before using virtualdub to save the avi as an image sequence. Now, the image sequence is about 6000 jpgs but there's a LOT of duplicates in there.
The cameras that I want were recording at about 4-5 fps but not always regularly spaced frames if you know what I mean. I captured the file at 15 fps and then stripped every frame as a jpg.
Now, I have ACDSee, which has a duplicate finder which does exactly what I want to do. It scanned the dir and told me there are 2051 sets of duplicates in the directory - BUT, it wants me to go through each set individually and select which files to delete. I repeat, there are 2051 sets, going through each one is just not on the cards.
So. Does anyone know of any useful little freeware/shareware app that will save one of each 'set' and delete or move the dupes from the directory so I'm left with one of each image? TIA and all that.
