Going to Fabric on Monday for a dub night. Been a long time since I have been to anything but a commercial dance or rnb venue.

Now that we're speaking of raves and live electronic music gigs, I've been pondering this:

Whenever I'm at a gig and the dj is taking his time to drop the bass, I feel like a junkie standing infront of his dealer waiting to get his drug.. The addict can see the drug, but the dealer won't provide it, because he likes to see the addict in pain, but when he finally gets his drug, he's on top of the world! That's the EXACT feeling I have, when the dj just won't drop the bass! But if the dj drops a shitty bass, it just feels like a disappointing trip..

Am I the onlyone who feels like this?

Fabric was amazing. Had wiley with about 5 members of RollDeep on stage for 40 odd minutes, then Chase and Status did about 45 minutes as well. Great music in between as well.

Really would recommend you go if they are playing at a club near you though.
