DSL Rates in Europe?

Quick poll of what people are paying for their Home DSL lines? I live in Dubai and pay 250 Dirhams per month for a 1 Mb line, which is about 36 GBP.

Would like a broad view of what people pay in Europe. A few of us in Dubai are running a campaign against the incumbent ISP, Etisalat about their charges and shite service. We have published a few letters in local papers on the subject and Etisalat have replied that their charges are competetive when compared to Europe.

Please as many different ISP's as possible. Many thanks in advance to those that respond. :)

when adsl first came out I was paying ~£36/month for 512kbps now I'm pay £25/month for 2Mbps, they've put a usage cap on it now though with BT :twak: with telewest like we've got a uni its £35/month for 2Mbps but no cap, and they are upgrading it to 10Mbps for the same price starting september.

premier account:
£21.99 for 2mb (soon you can choose 4/8mb for a bit more)
no download caps
30:1 ratio

i advise you dont use any of the cheaper packages as they will disconnect you if you idle for 30+ mins

1024 kb/s for 16€
2048 kb/s for 18€
6k kb/s for 26€

as basic price ( that's downstream speed ), then ISP charges 10€ without any traffic or time limit.

For Germany.

2mb down, 1mb up ADSL. No limits.
36€/£24 per month

Should maybe switch to 8mb down, 1mb up... would cost 45€/£30 per month.

Then again...
24mb down and 1 up would be 63€/£42.5 per month.
