DSL im clueless !!

Im after getting a 1 meg line installed through nildram. I have isdn but they will arrange this to be removed for me so thats ok.

Im just wondering does adsl allow you to be on the phone aswell as the internet at the same time ?


I know you will all laugh at me for asking but im rubbish in this department

Yes it does. You get a little splitter for your phone socket and you can use both at the same time.

Rather than get a filter for each socket, see about getting a replacement master socket with integrated filtration hardware. It reduces the line attenutation and allows for higher than average signal strength.
