Can you actually get banned for an opinion? :)

It was hardly an opnion but rather idiotic comments in an attempt to make people laugh. Ofcourse, they failed to realise the thread was serious and that their comments only lost them respect.

edit - ding 2 blocks. /hug ez for last piece of rep

Of course you can, what if my opinion was "all jews should die" and I was yelling that out, shouldn't I be banned too?

Been reading through all the posts and firstly, i dont think the two who posted comments to the effect of 'i'd hit it' were even old enough to drive let alone buy alcohol (but whos really been put off by that law  ). Secondly its a well made comment that the people who pay attention to these types of campaigns are the people who dont drink drive anyway  . I dont think i could ever drink drive, why risk so much, even costing someone their life, just so you could save the taxi fare. I also agree (as do my law lecturers) stiffer sentences are required, but thats something Parliament must change. I think they prefer to use police resources to sit behind speed cameras (but im only bitter 'cus i got caught doing 38 in a 30, but ive learned from my mistake and do the speed limit now, even if people do get annoyed).

Phew about the longest post ive ever made :D never again.
