ive seen a lot of stories with stupid punishments for killing people. although it maybe because it wasnt the drivers fault.
someone got run over while crossing the road and died. the driver got fined because the tax disc was out of date.

however, the sad thing is, the people who pay attention to things like this and actually think about the consequences tend to be the people who dont drink drive anyway

imo the best way to make people wake up would be harsher punishments for it. there is no way drink driving is an accident ever. destroying someone's life is no different from killing someone - they still lose out on everything that was going to come to them one way or another.

The "blokes in a bar , eyeing up the girl, who gets hit by their car/table" advert was reasonably good and its nice they arent afraid to be a bit graphic with it. when preserving peoples lives/bodies intact nothing is too harsh.

End of the day there are always arrogant wankers who think they can get away with it, and often do (drink driving not hitting people etc). little bit more common sense and less peer pressure ftw

i'm really sorry to hear about this, i watched a documentary about somewhere in europe and there was a phenominally high death/accedent rate all caused by Moose it was really shocking.
