Debating how to spec my druid and was wondering on other people's opinions, so please comment :)

Was thinking of either 44 nurture/31 regrowth or 39 nurture/35 regrowth/12NA(left over points)

Current spec is 36 nurture, 31 regrowth at lvl45.5

44 nurt m8, u wont need any higher reg than that, unless u want a better res ofc, but, the lvl 30 spread heal is like 512 hp to EVERYONE, its like a castable grp insta, and the last str/con rules :)

thats my comment anyways :)

Depending if the group can provide a highlevel nurture druid (or a buffbot) - there is an interesting topic in Hibernia's druids forum whether a Nature/Regrowth druid is a better healer.

Some claim they can stay alive longer and heal and support their group more effecient due to their roots/insta roots. They can cast huge heals and help other support classes with root. Also when they get a few tanks on them they can insta root them and escape.

Everyone plays/specs like they want to.
but i think i gave u a good answer on your question.
People will moan/whine if u gonna DoT all day and send in your pet and heal for crap HP's ;)

But....thats just imo.......irl

yeah to see a druid dotting every1, sending in pet and healing pet etc pisses most of the group off coz the group is more important and they need the heals. And its nice if the druid can do some decent buffs and resists rather than some crappy grey/green con buffs.

Buffs + Resists are much more required than a crap single target dot and insta root imo.
If you plan on doing any serious group rvr, I wouldnt spec Nature.

that or

44 nurture
31 regrowth
x nature

First is healer druid, second buffer druid. Both have great secondary skills as well, so both are fine :)

I would NEVER go under 35 regrowth...then u should have picked a warden/bard.

35 gives u -75 insta group....will save an elphs ass lots!

Except if u dont like the elphs in ur group...but thats a different story :p

Lies i tell j00......lies! :p

Neeh, its not a bad spec tbh.

tbh 40 nurture 35 reg. 9 na is uber.

40 nurture, and u got conc 2 buff ur group.. higher than that most cause some probs?..

35 regrowth nice heals and the 1st spreadheal healing 4 500/600

and 9 na 2 get the uber dot - which i in a very uberly fashion used 2 kill Duva.

4 dmg tick - 3 dmg tick - 4 dmg tick - duva dead! GET IT :)

but.. the 9 is actually nice - coz it will result in a lvl 12 pet, which can be very annoying 2 enemy casters.

I'm aiming for 39/35/12 Nurture/Regrowth/Nature spec. Currently 31/33/12 Nurture/Regrowth/Nature at level 45.

Went up to 35 for the 75 Group insta - would imagine it to be a group-saver under close circumstances in RvR. In PvE it's more of a sacrificial pawn due to the HUGE aggro it generates. ;)

I decided on Nature at 12 instead of the 40 Nurture for the better AoE Root (an extra 7 secs), the lvl 12 pet (maxes pet lvl at 20) and the improved DoT at 11. I went up to 12 Nature early to get these benefits earlier on and make levelling a bit easier. I thought the trade-off of the haste buff at lvl 40 was worth it - haste is the first of the spec buffs I sacrifice when I'm running low on conc.

Personally, I'm happy with this spec. The buffs aren't the absolute BEST out there, but at 39 Nurture, you get second-best buffs all around, which is generally enough to be get plenty of 'Oooo Nice Buffs' comments from just about any group you're in.

The 35 Regrowth, when combined with a few +Reg skills, gives you a LOT of healing, especially if you're vaguely sensible about the heals you use.

I have been finding, however, that the stock-standard heal I've been using is the smallest of the base heals - it's the quickest, most mana-efficient and smallest-aggro-attracting heal in your arsenal. I will only go onto the spec heals to catch up when the rate of damage is out-pacing my heals, or I need to get a couple of tanks topped back up quickly.

So, that being said, I would almost be inclined to Push Nurture to 44 for the better buffs as the base heals are used most the time.

Too late for me now, but that being said, I am in no way dissappointed with my choice of spec. It's also v. handy for PvE, where I spend a fair amount of my time in guild cash hunts and helping fellow guildies.

Just my inconsequential ramble, really.

I get plenty of conc to fully buff my grp. If im sensible.

Mages get Top int yellow str/con & dex/qui
Tanks get Top Str/con + haste/ Blue dex/qui
Bards get Yellow Strc/con + Dex/Qui
Wardens get Red str/con Blue dex/qui
Give myself Yellow Str/con Blue dex/qui

Depends how much I have left to wether I can up any.

Also nice to have Champs in grp, saves loads on conc ;)

I currently have:
41 regrowth
35 nurture
3 nature

and i find it a very good specc, the heals are uberand the buffs are more than decent, the only thing that i find lacking is AE roots, usually if i can't hide somewhere where i can cast spreadheals uninterupted i will have a tank on me within seconds and thus negating me totally.

Still, if u go high regro/nurture, don't bother to spend points in nature, low-end AEroots are useless, too many resists, and those that actually do stick lasts for what, 7 seconds? with resists ofc.

If u go high enough in Nature to actually get decent AE-roots u will have to drop either nurture or regro, it's as simple as that.
