Doh, sorry to hear that.

Don't some places to intensive training over a few days, with the test at the end? Perhaps you could do that. GL either way.

I was going to do that but I spoke to a driving instructor and he advised me not to, as by the end of the few days or however long it is you're just completely confused and unlikely to pass your test. You don't get enough practice and that's really what you need.

although other people may well and probably will say other things about it :)

edit: Has anyone done the 'Pass Plus' thing? It's basically motorway driving and stuff like that. I was wondering whether it's worth doing after I've passed.

I did mine, basically just covers the motorway driving, night driving the kinda stuff there isn't usually time to do during the lessons. When you pass it you get a certificate and when I got my car insurance I got a discount because of it

Yeah thats true, you dont have the experience (which is why im not looking forward to driving again, cos i only ever drove my instructors car). However, i did pass just taking lessions, so it can be done. If your desperate though, it might be an option.

Practice, as you say, is what you need... imo the only reason to do a pass plus is to get cheaper insurance :p
