Bard/Void eldritch My 2 favourite characters atm. But when i play one i always miss something from the other. So combine em.
Whatdya get, mage with his own spd song and mana regen song, nice. Also he can rez, heal himself (noone else seems to heal a mage in rvr) and others. Also has insta dd (very good for knockin stealthers outta stealth in that instant u sometimes glimpse em) and lull, mezz (tho u can get a crapper aoe one with some points in light) and still has stun. Also still has his bolts, can wear rf armour and can buff himself with dex/con and still has self cast bt. Nice

Imagine, race up, ae mez a grp, bolt a caster (or 2 if u get a one bolt kill on first) stun a tank and dd him to death. Repeat on next and next (playin pow song to keep mana up) u could kill em all then race off. Excellent.
Or race in to max range on bolt, cast qc next bolt then sprint in other direcion till spd kicks back in. Excellent at hit and run.
Anyway, would mean my bard wouldn't have to call for help anymore once he's mezzed anyone he runs into.

It shall be called, the bardritch. Or perhaps a void elbard. Or maybe something completely different.

when choosing the ideal pair you should really look for these things spread between 2 peeps:

-fastest speed (skald, minstrel, bard)
-ability for both members to do good damage
-rez ability
-insta heals
-buffs
-both members with 27% absorb

in generally that order. because of this, i really can't see anything better than skald + smite cleric. another possible idea which would be extremely interesting is blunt warden + smite cleric, purely because 6sec BT and the ability to res, and do some (small) damage is good. although a lot of emphasis would have to be on the smiter which might be a bad thing.

stealth is another aspect, and changes the rules for duos.. for example, mix minstrel + any other stealther (norse shadowblade preferred for the insane instant dmg) for an awesome combination.

Uber? Easy, as stated be4, healer+mana chanter.

Insta keeps u alive, insta did mez 4 u, step inside, if single target sinle stun, otherwise ae stun 11 sec and pbaoe, only need 6 sec to drop anything alive.

Chanters got 54% speed buff, which´s higher than sprint speed.

Healers got mana regen 5 with pac if I´m rite, and chanters got heat debuff (soon insta) + baseline DD. Best CCer and dmg dealer who can survive through 2 bolts
