Anyone find out any conclusive proof that its off parry now for armsman ? cant find it in the patch notes anywhere :/

go camelotherald.com -> patch notes -> patch notes archives, and look through 1.82 + 1.83 + 1.84 patch notes, can use ctrl+f "armsman"... not that hard.

Ratfang (3 sec stun) is off chained off parry for Armsmen. Beartooth gives a 6 sec stun and comes off block. Dragonfang gives a 5 sec stun but is not available to armsmen (according to the syle lib on the Herald). Since the style damage between Beartooth and Dragonfang is pretty simular and your more likely to block than parry (with a typical 1h Arms spec) its would be pretty pointless so I guess they have not bothered changeing it.

If you gonna spec 1h thrust and shield you can afford to drop thrust down to 39 (the level 44 style chains off detaunt so you wont use it for tanking) and pump the spare points into parry. So 50 Shield 42 Parry 39 Thrust.. Pick Saracen or Fish and you got a very good deffensive tank.

I only ask cos Kagato said in a diff post he was sure they'd changed Dragonfang for Armsman into a parry, i mean i dont care about the stun from it, is pointless when id have slam or onslaught, but it hits for higher dmg then the other styles so i wondered if it got changed thats all

Also, have the Reavers got thier double life taps yet, yeah im lazy not checking patch notes , but i know on the VN boards the yanks have had it changed so the lifetaps are on seperate timers now, which is sooo much better (just like the old days) , may make a Reaver for a thid char or something

cos atm im going 44/44/44 spec , but if it "is" now off a parry i may go 50 thrust, purely cos the dmg is nicer

They changed Bearfang (off evade) to parry for Armsmen but not Dragonfang (well i can't find any referance to it).

As I said earlier there is little difference between Bearfang and Dragonfang. There was no boost to its style bonus after the stun nerf. The level 44 thrust snare is pap since it chains off your detaunt (no style bonus) so is not worth takeing imo. With 39 thrust + 11 from Sc wil give you the composite 50 skill level. 50 shield for 11 sec stun off block leaveing 42 for parry.
