Dragon - Wedensday 10/12-03

The brown ones (Klan Nidstang), the PINK ones (Purple warriors) and the green ones (Talon's Reach) would like to have the dragon remains on the walls of our small cottages, so we would appritiate it of we could have the dragon for dinner on wedensday 10th of december.

Hope you would respec this.

Edit: We need to do this 3 times total, and hopefully it will be done before x-mas. If nemesis&co or Boomer have one of their days free, send me a tell please.

As far as I know there are Dragon-hunts on mondays(Nemesis, Valour and Onslaught), tuesdays(Boomeruk 3fg) and saturdays(Lubricador 3fg).

And for the record the threesome on mondays dosnt always involve Gjapi-babe.

Just bumping this, and posting my version of "how to kill a dwagon"

Some requirements (with capped cold):
Savages: 50 h2h, determination, purge.
Shamans: Buffbot spec (with last cold resist).
Runemaster: 6sec pbt please.
Healers: One of each kind is ideal.

Ive killed the dragon 2 times now in 2 tries, using this setup (Boomers 3fg raids as announced on the BW forum).

HOW TO KILL A DRAGON

POSSIBLE WARNINGS FOR AE FROM THE DRAGON
- gjalpinulva glares at <name> and unleashes a horrendous blast!
- gjalpinulva noticably winces from his wounds as he attempts to prepare for yet another life-threatening attack! (pbae at certain percantage of health)
- You notice the dragon stuggle slightly as he takes yet another deep breath! (pbae)
- You feel a rush of air flow past you as gjalpinulva inhales deeply! (pbae)

WHAT TO DO IF...
- You see the AE Inc: Run away from the head of the dragon, after 3-4 sec you can run back and continue to kill.
- You see the ADD INC: Press your MA macro, and help clear the adds.
- You see the DOGS INC: Press ur MA macro, and clear the dogs. If you see a dog sneaking out, stop him. DO NOT CAST SPELLS OUTSIDE MELEE RANGE <--Very easy to forget when ur chasing a dog.

DOGS
The Dogs that the dragon spawns, if they escape from the lair they will run to surrounding darkulvs and bring adds. The appointed MA will lead in the attack on these doggies, follow him at ALL times when not hitting the dragon. Healers mez them & stun them, AS LONG AS YOU STAND INSIDE MELEE RANGE WHEN YOU CAST THE SPELL.

ADDS
- Everyone (except the main tank & the warrior guarding him) make a "/macro MA /assist NameOfMA" macro, and use this when you hear the ADD INC signal.
- Do not solo the adds, follow MA at all times.

CHAT INTERFACE
- Turn OFF guild chat, officer chat, alliance chat etc. Put "say" in RED text to spot the AE warnings easier.

HEALERS
- Use ALL SPELLS (Heal, buff, speed, etc) INSIDE melee range of the dragon. If your unsure if your inside or outside melee range, DO NOT CAST. Casting spells outside range WILL trigger the AE nukes.
- DO NOT DO ANYTHING OUTSIDE MELEE RANGE
- Make a macro saying "Im rezzing: %t" so we dont waste mana using several spells on the same person.
- One healer pr. group should be mainly focused on rezzing, while the others concentrate on healing. That way the aggro from the rezzing dont stack with the healing aggro, and all healers wont go down in 1 wipe.

SHAMANS
- Rebuffs COLD resist everytime a player gets rezzed, then give them End and continue with other buffs.

SAVAGES
- Detaunt & positionals ONLY. Never ever think about using taunt
- Self buffsis ALSO concidered spells, and will trigger AE if used OUTSIDE melee range.

PBT-Runies
- Turn OFF pbt & speed before the puller have gotten tre dragon to the stone.
- The Runies are responsible to inform the groups off Add's, PBAE, AE & Dogs spawning.
- Every runie make a macro "/ch AE INC - RUN!!", "DOGS INC, KILL KILL" and "ADD WOLVES INC" or something similar.

HOW TO PULL THE DRAGON
- First, clear the lair for darkulvs.
- Second, the MAIN TANK (the savage) pulls from EAST entrance. Ideally the savage have IP to build up aggro. A damage shield works as well to get extra aggro to the main tank.
- TURN OFF EVERY PULSE (PBT SPEED ETC) WHILE PULLING. Turn them back on while we have engaged combat
