If you're under him it won't trigger the AE, you can do whatever you want (heal, rez, cast) just as long as you're under him really.

We killed him on Gawaine yesterday, after a few tests and two failed attempts we just threw out all the schamncy pansy ideas and decided everyone would rush at once and everyone would stay under him (100 people or so, wasn't more than 110). We logged 5 Clerics just in case, heh. We tried to get people to not use procs as we had heard that it did set his AE off but I'm sure a few people still used proc'd weapons as everyone was whining they didn't have one without a proc.

In any case, he fell down fairly easy on that one attempt (comapred to the attempts where we had casters send pets first or any attempt where someone wasn't under his belly). The only other special thing we did was that when he was 5% we sent around 3 groups of people to the mound, we were fighting him a few feet from it... We were fearing he'd AE stun us all so this way 'least he wouldnt' get us all. He didn't stun anyone but he did AE nuke everyone in the mound to bits, I think it helped tho 'cuz seconds later the rest of the people dropped him, maybe we avoided the stun by doing that.

I was using barbed arrows btw and hitting for 55-65 damage on average (plus damage add).

Well, to have a go at that dragon, you have to get through the realm-keep gates in albion. (which will be a tad hard)

Then you have to get to him through hordes of albs :O

I like the way they have made the hib dragon tougher, for the higher caliber players we have on hibernia...
