I believe I am right in saying that stones will drop from Sidi and the frontier dungeon aswell in future patches.

They are premium atm, but soon we will be awash with the goddamn things :) (ok..slight exagerration)

Judging from our own investigation within SS it appeared fewer than 10% wanted a stone, and most of these were 'like to have' not 'need'.

To those who are losing sleep, and their hair, about not getting a stone...relax, you'll get one sooner or later. And I suggest you don't part with a fortune for 1.

Absolutely.

The scarcity of the stones on the US servers was down to them finding it hard to lkill the dragon.

Whether we're finding it easy because....

1) excal is a fairly full server
2) our dragon is easier than it should be
or
3) we're just that good.

I really don't know.

But there are servers in the US that haven't killed the dragon in 2 months or more of trying.

That's why respec stones are rare over there and worth many plat, and over here will probably be 6sp for a dozen in two or three weeks time.

I was in the open raid as unguilded and were in the lotto in my grp as the rest of the grp members.

It's more about comparing excal/alb with under-populated-server/alb.

There are still US alb realms that haven't downed the dragon once since 1.60.

Who cares if it benefits the realm? after all most people are here to play the GAME, after all once you type /quit it's back to the real world. maybe if FC stopped thinking they're better then everyone and tried to actually HELP the smaller guilds rather then trample all over them, maybe.... just maybe.. First Cohort would benefit the realm

You can tell everyone here how you know to slam people attacking your casters, not break mezz etc, but anyone with any experience in the matter will know that things are never this simple. How you react to a given situation (and I can guaruntee you a text-book answer is rarely the right one) determines whether you're a good player or not. FC have proven they can do this. Have you? How did the dragon raid go? I couldent come today due to unforeseen circumstances (hot weather and someone with a BBQ making glorious chicken all day) and i dont think my new hyper threading cpu would enjoy all the stress the poor game engine puts the cpu under with the zerg of ppl, esp on a hot day, it would try to EXPLODE!!! i tell you XPLODE!
