Danyan, thanks for your input. I'll mention it the guide.

Twist, It pleases me very much that you plan to join the raid!

I would not worry to much about slash resistance though. Us tanks will never do much damage :). If your a blade hero you taunt faster and thats your main task.

I'll join on one condition, Bedroc. Give me dad sleeping pills that work a couple of months, then hack the internet restriction prog :p

Anyway - I'm sure my guild, The Kindred, will send a group to join for the fun :)

To bad you cant join us, but im pleased that your guild might. I have been trying to reach the kindred but had no success getting in touch with an officer of your guild. Could perhaps you tell your guild about the planning session?

Funny, with all that great, detailed info and links on the forst post (awsome job!), there is one question I have....

What date and time is this raid???

And Censi, we ALWAYS thank you after a raid...you are the greatest ;)

You might miss it in all the other chat tho =)

I think Bedroc can't really publicise the date and time for security reasons. It would've kind of ruin the raid if we all had to suicide to run to Dagda (then again.. if the Albs would be so kind as to relieve us of their relic we wouldn't have to worry about that :p )

Nice work Bedroc.. I'll do my best to be there and drag some guildies along :)

Thank you Glendower. Your words warm my heart. I do hope it pays off. Regarding the time it is a secret... Talk to your guild GM about it. I have talked to the GMs of the 30 largest guilds and informed them about the time. Its not to far off. If your GM has not heard about it feel free to PM me on this board. Please tell which guild you belong to and I can check if your a GM.

Amodan, thanks a lot! I hope we kill the darn bug this time! Your help is much appreciated.

Dont have a guild though. Never joined one since I started playing again after beta.

I will just ask some of my pals that have a guild :)

I have 16 regrowth spec, so can give a decent res and bubble away as usual.

Bedroc, last dragon raid i attended there was some rule about not using Moose effect. not being a tank type i dunno if this applies here or why it applied there, if it is valid it may be worth a mention here mate.

As usual you do everything with finese and planning. I salute you as a great advert for the game of DAOC and cant wait to come back to the game in the near future to try out you tactics in all things.

I unfortunatley can not make the Raid so as GM of Na Suinn Catha would ask that you get in touch with either Bradandua Joint GM or Xoron who is our main officer and has full guild Authority and im sure they will bring any guildies who are high enough for your raid .

Brennik, thanks for the link, I will study it and see if I have to update anything in the strategy. About the AoE dmg type its only interesting in theory. No matter your resist it will kill you.. Last time i got hit it was for 6000 hp dmg. and I had a fair amount of resisits. :)


Pocyourhontas, On this raid you can moose and IP all you want. I dont think it will affect the dragon as:

1. The theory is that you can do pretty much anything you want as long as your in the dragons melee range if you aggro him.

2. Moose + IP are used in melee range, plus they wont cause dmg and aggro in the traditional sense.

well see on the raid if these assumptions where correct. They have been verified in US.

I appreciate the Sun Tzu quoute :) Ive been a fan of his work ever since the stone age pc game "Sun Tsus art of war" :)

The best of luck in moving to your new house. We will miss you and be here when you return. I will sure write a report on the forums on how we did.
