I'm using petspam in all my fg dragonraids lately, and never ever did he AOE any of the pets. He will AOE when you're out of melee range (if you're within meleerange he'll just turn his aggro to you and starts hitting you). So if you make sure the theurg is in melee range when he starts spamming you're ok. I estimate it speeds up the process about 10 mins for a fg, this is just with 1 theurg spamming every 10% or so. Just remember there's a chance he will pbaoe every 10% health so don't do it when near a 10% mark as it's no use. Just note though it will bring the theurg aggro from now and then, I forgot if that's allways been the case
.
Also what others said, the ideal setup for a dragonraid is friar, merc, merc, pala, theurg, 3x cleric. I gues you can change that around a bit with 2 fg, but what I've noticed above 1fg, the more people the harder it gets
. So good luck!
