Heh people, *.wmv so isn't divx fyi... He used windows media player codec (for some obscure reason)

Note: I haven't checked on the movie itself but he did say that it was in .wmv format

yes but in the middle of the movie a divx sign popped up
so guess this was converted from divx to wm to get it smaller

Wasn't all the time, you might have noticed the cheesy 60's cuts to different scenes (Hi liste!) - this is where I popped the interface back on and checked for glare/pbae spam and legged it as appropriate

Movie clips were recorded as .avi with the FRAPS program, and originally re-encoded to divx using virtualdub. I then used windows movie maker to cut and paste the whole lot together and edit it, and unfortunately WMM doesn't let you save in anything except WMV. It's Microsoft, go figure
