I've seen something similar, but usually explained by severe packet-loss ( running in a straight line for ages and then suddenly pop back to where they actually were on their screen etc ).

Assuming Daoc uses dead-reckoning for 'guessing' where your char is at the time being.

Dunno, but this morning while the mids were camping atk at 6:00 am, i was there with my ns hunting this hunter Zlos. While albs/mids fighting, i went for the hunter. Guess what. I line up a pa, and i miss(noob ns) np, but after 2 hits, he warps back into the grp of mids, and i had stuck on him, so i ran right into them and he got healed blah blah and i died. Thought at that time, wtf is this lag or something, now I understand that he just is too lame to fight me without cheats.
