rofl i was saying i want one of those fat babies!! then i looked at my guinea pig and realised i already got one rofl, excellant 1st ep though really good to see a new assistant i hope she doesnt get all mushy like martha did though, and rose was a w00t too!

I missed it. A friend of mine, who I shall name 'Tool' needed my assistence to fix his compooter.
The numb tit managed to put the power cable in the wrong way round. I'm amazed. I never though it possible to put that cable in the wrong way, dur to the way the blocks are shaped.
Methinks the doctor had a hand in this, to make me miss the first episode.

Think its refreshing to have a sidekick thats not just eyecandy and is definately not going to develop a romantic attatchment to the Doctor. Bored of that "twist" now
yep exactly what i think, also its great that she's an older assistant (was getting a bit bored with teeny boppers) and does say stupid things and the scene where they were miming through the window cracked me up, more humour less longing gazes from unrequited lurve imo!
...and she's got red hair!!!
To be fair though she isn't ugly, she's not a "stunna" but she's definately got a nice face.

have to agree with chodax, just watched it and really not a fan of Catherine Tate. She just annoys me to much.

Tate works, it's more towards the old school. Though she is a bit annoying, but ah well, love the show and glad to see me fav nutcase back on the screen.

excellant show tonight and i loved Tates little jibe about "well i dunno what kids youve been flying about with but you cant boss me about", cracking stuff to have someone who isn't in school girl awe of him and shouts at him lol. I thought she really proved herself in tonights episode, showed lots of good believable emotions and remained fun with it ("you just fought an alien with a water pistol??? I BLOODY LOVE YOU!!") smashing stuff.
honestly guys if any of you are not watching because your not sure of her please give it a go, i was totally dubious about christopher eccleston playing the doc when the show first restarted and boy was i ever wrong.
