cba with Dr Who.
Just watched Royle Family. Its been going downhill since series 3 finished (years ago). The writing's now tired & drawn out. Shame. Used to be ace.

I thought it was great, pretty funny too. Loved the new intro, very much a throwback to classic Who intros, in preparation for the 50th next year. Great 2nd debut for JLC as well, really liking her atm.

I think the bit that did it for me was the constant use of the phrase "Winter is coming"

I liked it, although the whole Clara thing is bugging me (which its meant to i suppose) Another one of Moffat's interwoven story lines that will span a whole, or even a couple of series, which what i love about Dr Who

And my god is she fit

New companion is brilliant, she was epic in the episode earlier this series and was great in this one. The way she plays off the Doctor is better than any of them so far in the reboot. And she is hot too.

Not seen it yet but I agree about the Royle Family. The characters have been reduced to stereotypes and ultra-retards. Without a touch of realism it isn't funny anymore. Kinda glad Cash never made a series 3 of Early Doors now :/

I like the direction they've gone with companions in recent years.
Billie Piper - not that attractive
Catherine Tate - err... no.
Karen Gillan - Oh yeah!!! I have a serious thing for scots accents and redheads. Put the 2 together and I'm happy.
Jenna-Louise Coleman - got that sweet look of a just turned 18 porn star. Ticks my boxes! :)

[edit] Apparently JLC was in "Captain America" as well as another hotty I like, Natalie Dormer.

She was in the scene at the begining when Steve Rogers and his mate take the 2 girls to the world fair to see Howard Stark

I quite liked it. Don't usually watch it but it was a toss up between that or staring vacantly out the back window (was at the inlaws)
