DR download client

I tried this a couple of times this morning and it crashes me to that nasteh blue screen after about 5 minutes every time XP Home on my lappy, anyone else getting this?

that in mind, i decided that seeing as i had shopping to do i could get it from the direct site link. My first attempt, it managed about 50Mb then acted like it was finished. Deleted the half DLd file, started again - was going well, approx 3 hours.

Went shopping, came back - 3hr 15mins left and slowly rising...

The transfer rate has steadily dropped, and is now at only 30kbps

I've got 2mb broadband so whats going on?? I started this at just after midday and im STILL these mystical three hours away from finishing

That program is fucking bullshit for me. Direct download from website got 16kb/s. No wonder atm though

i think it's hung - after best part of FIVE hours and 387Mb...

Use some frigging download manager tbh, and don't hold your breath cause after the huge download it still has to patch (wtf ) 62 Mbs ^^

Suggestions of DL managers that can be used with DR?

The one from GoA crashes my machine within 5 minutes...

set it off this morning come home 30 mins ago and it was complete \o/

Except it was corrupted and now I have to DL it again at 15kbs :/ oh well only 11 hours left.

I just tried the client for the fourth time and this time it worked - all 731Mb in 1 hour 45 mins...

meh!

ah well, done now
