ever since i installed DR im getting seriously bad lag spikes..

I have a 1.5 meg broadband internet connection, and im interfacing using a belkin 54g wireless router and adapter.

Never had LD problems before in my DAOC life (lucky I guess)

Mainly occurs in New DR instances, haven't tried RVR yet too scared.

Any Advice?

Firstly, the bandwidth of your ADSL connection won't make any difference. DAOC actually only uses a few k/sec up and downstream. You can play on 56k with no lag whatsoever.

Bit strange you'd start getting issues (assuming same setup) with DR.

Have you tried reverting back to old client to test? Is hardware checksumming disabled on your network adapter? Have you got the latest firmware for the router and adapter? Have you re-enabled your firewall to accept all connections from the new game.dll?
