Downloading patch problems

Hi, my freind is downloading the whole patch as he only got the game today, it got to 82% then crashed and now gets to the first file then hangs.

the file is community_window.xml

any suggestions?

Just a suggestion, but I would search for any copies of that file and delete them, then run the game making sure to click the 'check all files' box and see if that helps.

hasnt worked, he's tried reinstalling it but that still didnt help it
