I'll d/l it overnight.

I never played halo on the xbox, I dont even know much about it.

I sit easy to pick up? Or will I run around shooting myself in the foot?

Well... I was playing it in my lan cafe / games shop, on the Xbox. I'd never played on an Xbox, never played Halo. Seemed pretty easy to me, I can only assume it's going to be mucho easy on PC.

Hell, damned if I know. I heard it was good, Independent gave it 4 stars (doesn't say much really) and it looks like it might be more enjoyable than CS. :D

Downloading it now at a whooping rate of 56k! :D

lol I had to download directx 9b too, then restart com .. only thing is I forgot to save Halo I just opened it :(

wtf it only took me 5 seconds to dl it this time :clap:

Looks bloody amazing, unfortunately one thing spoils it; one of the multiplayer arenas things is called 'death island' which is the least original name ever.

I tried about 5 of the servers and they are ALL laggy as hell. :(

I mean REALLY laggy. :(

The game is kinda fun though. It is a lot more impressive looking than most of the FPS games I have played up till now and the MP is good fun! Flying ships and everything! :D

The BEST part of the demo is when you quit though. Heh heh. Made me laugh. :)

:D Same here, they made a good job there ;) Haven't tryed online yet,, just campaign :)

Single player was damn nice, multiplayer was bloody awful, i thought the other people were cheating as the lagged so much. Plsu in one game i joined noone could walk forwards or fire but they had no idea why.

But yeah, the bit when you quit (or when you complete the single playe rmission) is pretty funny.

I'm guessing that the normal version will run better than the demo version but I won't know for sure until I get a copy.

...then there is the issue of whether or not my totally legal and non-downloaded copy will even work online due to err...atmospheric interference. ;)

...yea, atmospheric interference.
