it will be your temp directory filling up - try cleaning out c:\temp and c:\windows\temp ...

you should really keep a minimum of 2gb - but preferably 20% of your c: drive hard space free

Yup, when you download that file it won't be downloading to your slave drive, it'll be downloading to your C: temp folder with the intention of copying over the contents to the slave once it's finished downloading.

Run the disk cleanup wizard to find stuff you can safely delete to free up some space.

If you have avg it seems to dump massive files in the temp folder i think when it does a scan. I have to clean these out once a week as i only have 8gb on my crappy desktop though which is lower than low spec.

change the location of your temp folder in the registry to the other drive..........

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment\Temp

set it to the other drive ie d:

run regedit

click start
goto run
type regedit and press enter
then you see a list of 5 folders with + signs next to them
expand the one that says HKEY_CURRENT_USER
thne click the folder that says Environment
in the right hand side of that regedit window you will see somethging called TEMP
double click on that and change it from c:\temp or what ever it is to D:\

let me know how you get on
