Wow, some pretty awesome bands there. Would like to see Rammstein, NIN, Fear Factory, AC/DC, Megadeth and of course Iron Maiden.

After 3 years of having wankers piss/vomit on our tent, scream all night, light fires 2 feet from our very flammable tent in high winds etc etc etc you can't blame us for wanting a bit of peace and quiet

As for the people QQing about the bands headlining, if you don't like it, then don't go. Not everyone that likes MCR is a spoilt emo-kid, not everyone that likes LP is a wannabe nu-metaller etc etc. Some people like the bands for the music rather than the image or peer opinions.

These festivals are designed for a broad scope of people interested in alternative music, not just the music you grew up with that you consider to be the best, or what genre you believe Download is aimed at. If you don't like the band on the main stage, then check out the alternative stages, you may even broaden your horizons and get into music that you wouldn't normally have listened to. Last year Prodigy played Download and were an amazing success (and imo one of the best bands of the weekend), despite people QQing no end that they had no place at a metal festival etc.

Small minded people should chill out and broaden their horizons, or piss off and not try and inflict their pettyness on other people.

Btw.....a message for all who go: RAMMSTEIN is utter stupid bullshit. Their total lack of writing skill is a horrible thing. Their music is basically like techno with lyrics, if you can call the repetition of 3 words lyrics. Just be glad if you don't understand any single german word, cause it's like arrrrrr......I could go on for hours about Rammstein. Their shittyness is an insult to the word music and.....okok, I gotta stop here

It mostly is in the UK these days, allthough with downloads now going into the charts they did score a number 11 recently.

Quite looking forwards to Linkin Park years since I've seen them live, Iron Maiden are always good so that'll be pretty cool and never seen My Chemical Romance so would be nice to see what they`re like live. Hoping for some more big names would be nice to see Machine Head, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Fear Factory and RATM as a surpise with the full lineup but we'll see I've no doubt lots more quality bands will be added to the bill

Personally I really like Rammstein, as an industrial band they`re not as good as Pitchshifter but still pretty good and much heavier and exciting than NIN.

Ehrr, so because their lyrics are not "deep" enough they are utter bullshit? I happen to understand a fair share of German and I don't have any problems with the lyrics, and even if I had, I don't think I would like Rammstein any less because of what their lyrics meant.

Personally I just love Rammstein, and the lyrics in German, be it crappy lyrics or whatever just gives them an edge imo.

Rammstein are Industrial, it's meant to sound like Techno; just a little darker/deeper/less boucy.

Though, I'd rather listen to early NIN/Wumpscut.
