Double Spec fix inc?

Ok so what are the chances that after 2.5 years arms can actually get double speccing working properly???

Better or worse than a snowballs chance in hell?

This time last year the arms TL was saying it was about to get looked at - and was giving the same 'not this patch, maybe next one' style comments.

I hope Mors use's my suggestions for Double spec fix which means alot less work for mythic ^^.

Be honest. if double speccing was 'Fixed' Then most arms would still be hybrids anyway 50 Pole 50 shield 28 parry / Slash or worse 42 shield.

We all know now that Double speccing doesnt need to be fixed it needs to be rewarded

I'd be happy if it just did what it was meant to do and negate damage variance, anything above this is a bonus.

Either way it will be many months still before we see any benefit, assuming it even gets looked at in 1.71, which I frankly am not holding my breath for.

Don't get your hopes up either, theres more then just double-speccing thats wrong with the Armsman class, double-speccing is just the tip of the ice berg of our problems.

There'll be some fotm paladin specs if they fix it like some have suggested (speccing slash alone and getting 2h style as well etc).

That'd make arms pretty worthless tbh, with the only difference between a pala and an arms polearm and a str stat.

Just hope to dear god they fix it in 1.71 NF has pretty much nerfed arms badly, just hope double spec fix can make up for the nerf abit.

Like I said on there, doubt it will happen as Mythic will just say they're busy with fixing NF bugs, or catacombs or something else. Apparently now its "on the list", but apparently the previous TL said it was "on the list" last year.

Yeah but now we have a dedicated patch number (1.71), and the Paladin TL has confirmed it as well....

Guess its either gonna get fixed, or the TLs are lying to us, or Mythic are lying to the TLs, or both....

I doubt it will get fixed, but I do have a small glimmer of optimism about it.

Isn't it enough that pallies take 'insert low dmg here' damage from melee attacks of all sorts? You also want to do 'insert high dmg here' too? .

even if you give a paladin a decent 2h weapon then they'll still be doing low damage

they'll be doing low damage in big meaty chunks mind you... but still low damage
