FFS guys inform all your realm about door bug, if they keep on using it report them, i reported 3 more guys this weekend. Its so bloody lame/sad some are still using it, they cannot claim they dont know about it.

agree - that should b punished by removing 20% or the Rps - maybe then they will stop using the bug

Some people have downloaded the us keep files. So on some keeps the inner door is moved to the tower, so they can run into the keep while the 2nd door is still up and kill people inside, this according to Goa is a bug. Otherwise they would not warn people for using it.

ah, ok.. well, seems like an exploitable bug to me..
.. and as long as there are exploitable bugs, trust me, some ppls will keep on exploiting them

can't GOA enforce some sort of a patch that overwrites the current keepfiles to everyone and gives the good ones instead?

Well people can fix this themselves, and i'd rather that goa goes on with the job to translate the new patch and TOA. And ban the exploiters.

Not that i've had the bug myself, but i understand that most people dont get it on purpose. They get it when patching to US and then patch back. People that might have forced the US patch to get the bug are dicks though

Bolts comming throu keep doors, Sorcs ae-mezzing throu closed doors, Archers critshotting (no, wasnt volley)... the list is endless. You dont have to pass the door to exploit this bug.
Fixing this would be easy if GOA was allowed to change the code of the patcher. They just have to add those certain files to the list of files the patcher does a checksum check on.
But since they cant do it they should at least ask Mythic to do it. Maybe we all should send mails to Mythic concerning this?

You can play some rvr but still not know about the bug.. Forumites get the message but GOA dont have a clear way of getting the message across for those that dont use the boards..
The other day I ran straight into a keep full of Albs while wearing just a dress (and with 50 spec in summoning).. Now try to say I didnt know about the bug.. had to release. miss the raid etc..
I do rvr a lot. I just solo (not with my summ SM) so dont talk to anyone.

Well what i find funny is people who do rvr alot, and dont notice that the inner door has moved. If i saw this i would start to wonder, and then seeing my realm mates standing where the door used to be, hitting thin air. Hmmmm something must be wrog. But some people seem to be just plain stupid.

Anyone worked out what the files are that have to be deleted / replaced to fix this without a complete reinstall ?
Just might help people with this problem, rather than just trying to get them banned ?

It does not take to long to reinstall, and heard from some its enough to do a complete filecheck.

Check the "Do complete file-check (this may take a few minutes)" box when starting the patcher. It should find and re-download the corrupted files.

There was one or two on the door who i assumed were rooted. No door to me ='d door down, "bundle!!!" I am a Div though.
Next time i just waited around outside for my realm mates to bash down the invisible door. Thing is though when the Lord goes down I get locked in the Lord tower which is a pain.. so you get less doors in some places but 3 more doors appear in other places. will do file chack tonight.

u guys seem sto be pointing this all at Albion - but i know for Certain Mids do it as well as hibs - many times b hiding in lord room to see 3 Savages & a healer walk though the doors

Well if you are sure they are abusing the door bug, report them. During saturdays keep takes i saw alot of lag ghosts, more than i've seen before. But like a good ghost they just popped into thin air. And when we retook our keeps from you albs i decided to check how many that where not able to run into the tower. And the 3 keeps where took back, dunno if anyone them will have their doors moved in next patch. But all mids there where able to run into the tower, and out of it after the keep feel.
I just think its sad that there are people using this. FFS being crit shot while sitting at the base of the tower, while albs bash the 2nd door. And not 900 damage is not volley. I have also been nuked while at the tower with bolts.

not speaking for casters/archers, who are abusing this from ALL THREE realms, inside and out of the keep - stop it, you lame cheating twats, you'll get a reputation even if GoA don't do anything to punish you... (i can't actually think of a suitable punishment that would'nt be deemed rather harsh 
)
I will defend us melee classes who use the ol' f8 & /stick method - picking up targets close by, even when you don't have the bug, also targets those either just inside, or near the gate. On more than one occaison when i found i had the bug, i have latched onto a guard who's actually already in the keep, and gone bowling in, frantically smashing my mouse buttons to get my solo arse out of there, before i get nuked and reported.
Save the trouble, i reported myself to GoA and they told me to not only reinstall, but to delete the original game files first. Hence, i spent best part of a couple of hours letting the patch's work their magic, and all appears to now be well in my world
