Reminds me of an incident years ago in a kiddie football tournament (hesa cup in case you know) where a thai football team lost a game and had to go back home. Their players went absolutely berserk and started chasing and beating their opponents with the corner flags.

That right there is the only reason i would ever watch a hockey game. The sport is boring, but the fighting is always a good laugh.

A dull sport, and an even more joke of a situation - both should get year(s) bans from the league. The only way a sport will get respect, and the only way officials will regain control.

Same as any North American sport, they'll only get 'rough' with each other is when they have tons of padding. We should have a british ref there with a .44 magnum blowing heads off and then claim it was friendly fire.....

Completely disagree about banning them for years, would completely destroy hockey, no one would watch it and it would die. Although saying that, someone did actually die this month after his helmet came off and he smashed his head on the ice after a fight :d
