I can't imagine for a second that the police will not cover all of her medical bills she will be fully paid for any time off ect so where exactly is this £50k coming from. What could this lead too? You call the police because you house is being robbed and an office gets killed can his family then sue you? This where there is blame there is a claim shit needs to go away it's a joke and now you have to worry about the people who are meant to protect you suing you it is mad.

I don't think she was even chasing a suspect when it happened, I think it's more like you call the police as your house is being robbed, a police officer slips on the rug in your hallway and smacks his knee and sues you for not having adequate signage up warning of the danger of rug slippage.
