Domain registration

I need to register a couple of domain names. They are not going to be used for a while, but I will want to transfer them to a suitable host at sometime. Where/how am I best registering these? My ISP wants £85 each fs

I use easyspace.com for my .com domain, think I pay 14 quid with VAT a year - have to pay a one time fee if you want the site hosted elsewhere, but otherwise it's pretty good, though I'm sure you can get certain domains extensions cheaper elsewhere

www.123-reg.co.uk for .co.uk domains. £6 for two years.

Seconded for 123-Reg - I have both my domains registered with them (a .com and a .co.uk) and they've been grand.

I've used both freeparking and lowcostnames for mine.

www.ukreg.com are marginally more expensive than 123reg but pretty sure you can transfer away for freeeee
