Hummm

Ive somehow managed to disable the pressing of ctrl and space in halflife so now i cant do crouch jumping.

Im pretty much sure its something to do with the stickykeys option in win2k after you press ctrl or shift or summut 5 times.

Ive messed about with the options but with no luck. Any ideas?

have you tried pressing ctrl or alt repeatedly and randomly

I find whenever windows enables some stupid key mode like that, the best way to fix it to press a load of keys randomly until it turns off.

I sometimes get windows to swap the mouse buttons around and wild clicking and alt pressing is the only way to switch it back :/

Yeh thats the setting im talking about.
I just cant seem to press ctrl and space at the same time. Everything else is fine.

Go into Control Panel and then into Accessibilty Options and just un-tick everything in there. That should sort the problem out for you.

try not messing about with stuff when it was working ok, either that or avoid hard to reach places, other than that i have nothing useful to say

tried to doesnt look like u can in win2k. Didnt look too hard at removing tbh, i would imagine theres a way.

I went into one game the other day and it was working, for some reason its b0rked again

First uninstall accessability options unless you are a complete (*$£&("*&$

Secondly, to activate sticky keys you would have had to hit shift 5 times in a row.
It may be the same to deactivate so try that also.

Thirdly, how on earth do you play by having space assigned to the jump key?!?

They are unticked and there is no uninstall in Add/Remove. I cant be assed to find out how to manually uninstall it and why would it work day then not the next?
The spacebar is the default and what i learned with, I cant get used to any other setup.

or are they just concussion "things that blow up"

still, im glad i never saw what was in the next room after that fuckin long jump
