you're either with us or you eat your own shit, there's no inbetween, what's it gonna be?!haarewin said:i like cats more than i like dogs. but that doesnt mean i hate dogs.
Dogs are loyal, people just buy cats because they're cute :/ As the above poster said, its worth spending time with dogs, it seems as though owners of cats have them so they don't have to pay any attention to them, and look it it every once in a while.
No the cat's own you, we own the dogs. Most cat's usually don't like there owners and will go elsewhere if it’s better. Dogs will die for you, and I agree with above poster a lot more rewarding and smart and understanding of humans. Don’t see cats sniffing out drugs or finding missing ppl :<. Even if a cat could they wouldn’t, cats are wild and dogs are pets but some cats get adapted and become home cats and most are shits.Thorwyn[B&Q] said:Nope, that´s completely untrue.
You have to work to get attention from a cat, whereas it´s much easier (i.e. automatically) to get the attention and loyalty from a dog. With a dog, it´s enough to be his "master" and that´s the case from day 1 when you buy it.
Of course, there are some people who don´t care about their cats and just share a place to live with them. But that´s not how it´s supposed to be. If you care about the cat, give it attention and generally give her a happy life, the cat will give it back to you. It just doesn´t come for free (like with a dog). It´s just easier to handle a dog.
Absolutely. When you get affection from a cat, it means something. Hitchcock, the cat I had when I lived in Wales, was an excellent cat; he used to sleep on the top of the kitchen shelves, and if you walked into the kitchen and said his name, you could hear this purr start from overhead, was great. I'd be sitting watching TV and practicing guitar or something, and he'd come and stretch himself out next to me and lay his head on my leg, the body language was something you could only interpret as real affection.Thorwyn[B&Q] said:You have to work to get attention from a cat, whereas it´s much easier (i.e. automatically) to get the attention and loyalty from a dog...

Even the ancient Egyptians thought dogs were better![]()

Are we talking about animals or pets? Wild cats or cat family i.e. a "lion" because you could mention wolfs etc. Dogs are more useful, more pet like and smarter. How many dogs have you seen that get stuck in trees or on roofs or run over as many times as cats? Only time my dog ever got stuck and I had to lift him up was when he thought he was an agile as his brother and wasn't as fat.Huntingtons said:heh @ people saying they're smart coz they can sniff out cocaine - shall i mention their obesence sence of smell? if casts could do that they'd be used for it as well - or finding semen or people or whatever. i still favor cats any time, they're much more of an animal than a dog is... a dog could be a robot and no one would notice...

You don't see stray dogs running up the pavement some times?Urgluf said:Are dogs allowed to run outside without their boss? I don't think so. Cats go out at night, thats why they get run over..

yes they're loyal, but at least cats you have to earn their trust,

havnt seen a cat get stuck in a tree, only in cartoons... and most dogs are leashed so thats not really a valid argument either.Cynix said:Are we talking about animals or pets?
