Does quality matter for Alchemists?

I remember reading somewhere that the quality of tinctures has little (if any) affect on procs. I am almost done "leveling" my alchemist, but Im still not sure if quality matters or not. Is 99% quality the standard when people ask for tinctures? Or is that just a waste of resources?

Thanks.

well..

do a search on threads posted by chilly - remember him posting something about it somewhere. Apparently (from what I can remember) there us a slight improvement, but pretty much negligble..

Most people are happy with any quality tinctures i find but you get the odd person who insists on 99% , thats till you tell them the cost per retry that is :)

there is no noticeable difference regarding quality with all alchemy products.
its been investigated intensely and discussed on VN boards.

if still some1 moanes about a 94% proc: just what influenza said....the standard 300 g for a reactive dont include any retrys. i get such customers now and then, and as long as they want to pay for it....not my problem.

The only time quality matters in alchemy is when putting a charge on an item...but then again its not really the quality of the charge, but on the weapon:p

So no (as already responded), quality does NOT matter in alchemy
