The days that everyone wore black in Emain have passed, and I'm glad they did because everyone looked the same. But if you still want to blend in the environment, you should wear dark colours at night and green/brown during the day (; If you really don't want to be seen, play a luri, preferrably one that can stealth (;

Personally I'm a fashion freak, and I like wearing different colours every month. I noticed that when I wore purple/forest green/light blue/yellow that I was like a light beacon that all invaders homed in on :p

i have to change colours a lot <bard>
cus after a few runs, the enemy begin to pick you up from memory as the bard.. so changing colour gives you some more space to do your thing

of course if you're not a bard, druid or similar battle turning class.. then.. wear bright pink forever if you like

What colour you wear only matters in group combat. If you're in a zerg then it doesn't make the blindest bit of difference. Bright colours are bad (proof: today I was wearing dark blue and in the same group fatalitys was wearing bright red... guess who got ganked every single time) and I've found greens, deep blues and browns tend not to draw the eye as much as other colours. Oh and turn ya fricken lights off, unless u want a sign on ur forehead saying "look at me!"

Yeah, and wear a red shirt, so if you get wounded your mates won't see the blood and it won't lower their morale.

And brown pants can be useful too, when you expect to meet the zerg.

There's one hibbeh caster who has the same colo(u)r as me , he's my dye-brother. Can't remember his nick but it sure is flashy :)

dark grey is more obvious in stealth mode, but doesnt show up as much as black, which stands out a mile, prolly most obvious looking dye unless your stealthed. "light yellow" dyes natural green items a kind of green/yellow hybrid that works pretty well

well i currently wear royal red robe, with black cap/gloves/boots/cloak. quite like it a lot personally :)

when i next change i'm taking a leaf out of the siabra archmagi book and going black/purple, quite like that look too... then maybe a dark blueish and black look?

is it me or does black just go with anything???? :D

well i like people having the same colour scheme, it means that when i see Mr Jedi Knight running at me it's time to leave sharpish... Mr Jedi Knight is that lvl 50 friar dressed in brown who runs around emain doing all the somersaults and killing five people at once with his amazing acrobatic staff skills :p, dont know his name but i know that he hit me HARD last time :p, i see the brown and decide not to be anywhere near it :)

I think that's the dude Quicksilver. I still remember one time in Emain I tried to PA him...bah was I in for a surprise. Friar is one class to stay away from specially if they are higher RR than you :p

I wear crimson and emblem on my mentalist, get ganked pretty quick, the glowing casting effects don't help much there though.
On my minstrel I wear dark blue and black and I'm not normally targetted too quickly. On the black is targetted first, depends if it's day or night. At night you can't see black people for crap unless they have their torch on. :p
