hhmm...i watch alot of anime, and i can tell you dbz aint manga

the version cartoon ntwk screen here and in the US is *based* on the japanese version. ie its completely remade for them. if you ever see a japanese episode, youll notice the differance. ive got one on video, very bizarre.

Personally I hate most of the Japaneese Nonsence that seeps it way to our British TVs (same goes for computer games and, yes you read this correctly, Games consoles). As for Dragon Ball Z, I have a friend at school who NEVER shuts up about this nonsence, and thats put me off the thing for life.
