Ok... everyone must of seen Matrix Reloaded by now, the question is.. how do you think the 3rd film will finish?

I have predictions..

A)

In the first film there are lots of Alice in Wonderland references.. so maybe there going to do the whole "it was a dream" thing. If you recall Neo fell asleep at his PC before all the wierd shit started happening, so this is possible.

B)

When Morpheus offerd Neo the "pills" maybe someone switched them with really high powerd mind altering Drugs which has resulted in him having a 2 week long Acid trip.

C)

Neo is actually a program designed by the machines to infiltrate the humans and fuck them up bigtime, could be a really dark and sinister ending

D)

Neo and Smith will have a big fight in the real world over a device that will kill all the sentinels. (and neo will win)

E)

After a boring dialog with lots of deep philosophical crap Smith (in the real world) will be convinced to help the humans kill all the machines.

F)

After a boring dialog with lots of deep philosophical crap Smith (in the real world) will be made to understand to value life and go talk with the machines and machines and humans will live happily together ever after.


nah wait. there need to be much more fighting for a matrix movie. maybe neo will be made to hold off hundreds of agents to protect smith while he's holding a speech for the machines and... um.. err. <system overload>

G) The "real world" is actually just the 2nd level of the matrix hence Neo being able to use his powers there.

H) There will be a happy ending (as it's an American film so there has to be a happy ending)

I) There won't be a happy ending as everything loops back to the beginning again and the borth of Zion happens again.

Spot on, why did you think the Architect told Neo he was the sixth version of Neo? And when he ultimatley failed he was fed back into the matrix again.
How can you replicate an entire world six times exactly?
Hence the world outside the matrix is just another layer of the matrix. Neo is just realising this, hence the use of his powers at the end of reloaded.

He got teh powers because some part of agent smith got copied to him fyi. There is no extra matrix (or i will get upset2k2)

As for the current version of matrix being #6, agent smith mentioned that there had been other versions as early as in Matrix 1, when he's talking with, well talking TO (since its a one-way conversation) Morpheus when he's chained on that chair.

Oh and new versions of zion is unrelated to new versions of the matrix imo, both happen to be #6 but thats just coincidense.

from the 2nd film, its possible neo is a program, like the oracle is a program. zion is a matrix in a matrix, its there to make people feel like they have been set free so the creator can collect info about how humans act so he can make the next matrix more perfect its also there to get rid of 'bugs' in the matrix i.e. people who do things that shouldnt be possible (see animatrix). oracle is there to see how people cope with making choices rather than having everything they do set out for them. i think the 3rd film will probably finish explaining all this but better.

K) Neo and Trinity discover that the real world is a matrix as well, and there is another matrix outside that, and in fact an infinite number of matrixs. There is no real world. It is all just a computer simulation.

L) Neo goes crazy....and kills everything except trinity... but then she's pissed at him for going power crazy and so he kills her too

N) If u were proboly into gaming you would know that the next Matric game (that will come at Christmas 2004) will happen after Revolutions and will be in the matrix Neo knows as the fake world (the one he was saved from) and u r playing characters that comes from the "real" world so it can't end here....

Soo clueless. The matrix was planned as a triology just as much as lord of the rings or starwars.

Actually, star wars was originally going to be chopped up into half hour slots and screened as a kids saturday morning serial - it was the best deal they had been offered before it was scooped up. I get teh feeling that it was never intended as a triogy, seeing as the first one was numbered IV (6, dullards).

I feel sorry for David Prowse; he was offered the choice of a one off payment for the part, or a percentage (which was looking well bleak, as i mentioned above) so he took the one off payment of something like a couple of thousand :doh:
