What do i need to play this game?
I have the retail version of CS installed but not Half Life, can i just install DoD or do i need to install Half Life first?
Sorry if its a stoopid question but i dont want to install Half Life if i dont need to.

i THINK u can install DoD to the cs directory,though i only learned that after installing half-life meself
anyway if u got plenty of space installing hl then downloading DoD will do it
get the latest version,1.3b

Ok thanks for that, dont fancy installing to my CS directory on the strength of an "i think" i know i would fook something up!, so i guess i'll have to uninstall Unreal Tournament (should have done that looong ago)

Im sure you can install DoD if you have the retail version of CS, you just install it into the CS directory insted of the Half Life directory. If you go to the official web site they give you details on how to do it.

Anyway, you can install DoD into CS retail. If you need more infor go to here and check FAQ 16.

BTW, I plyd DoD on-line for the 1st time last night, and it really does rock.

It was my first time last night as well (playing DoD). I foud it played a bit smother than RTCW wich i lag out to hell on and its pritty easy to get into. This mod gets Two thumbs up.
