everybody can win if they use all ra's, artis an mls in 1 fight.. that does not make the class overpowert imo.. an yes maybe rr10 mincers win most of the fights but so does other rr10 classes...

ppl like alpha showed that a clever played, rred, mled and toaed mincer is pratically unkillable in a 1vs1. the situation didn't change much since of, it's not only the "i win"-buttons you sure share with other (stealthers) that make you oped in that matter, it's also the additional "i won't lose"-buttons that makes mincers unkillable and thus overpowered.

if you get killed on your mincer in a 1vs1 it's your own fault, as you play an "outstanding" class.
as i write this i get the feeling that it's pointless to even start to argue with you about this, as you won't get all the hints anyways, so i'm out.

All I know about Mincers is that if they don't stun you (you purge), they mez you. If the mez somehow breaks and they are losing, they SoS.
And I am sure that they take some bashing, with or without artis, and they have IP which is nice too.
They are the ultimate duo partner for the alb stealthers, and they also put up a good fight solo, even when you manage to PA CD them because of their poor stealth.

And not sure how a Mincer would kill a SM who is MoCcing as I've never played the class, but I'm guessing they start fighting, the SM MoC's, Mincer SoS's out of range and counts to 30, comes back and Mez's SM+Pet, then maybe stun SM? and beat them down? No idea tbh :>

I think this thread has gone off-topic some - it seems to be a /nerf Mincer thread at the moment ^^

especially i was aiming at the fact that you have a hard time "owning" a mincer who has purge2/sos. if you blow this RAs everytime for offensive things it's your thing, but you can aswell save them them for defensive measures combined with instastun/mezz, which leaves you in fact with the possibility to avoid death in the most situations (if you want to ).

don't even get me started on things like IP and the two very good ML lines you can choose from, rather try to see it from the other side, yet you fail to do.

About albs.. well, i allways say, when u choice alb/exc to start play u lost 90% of brain. In 3 years of game albs zerged 24/7, soo nothing new. All relic + 3 to 1 is alb skill. (now whine me gimps, but tell me that is no true ;p )

any who plays retard mode purley because its retard mode is a moron. Theres lots of them out there.

The side consequence is anything u kill is pretty close to worthless in terms of achievement and testing yourself, which is where the most fun is to be had from daoc. You just need to stick with a class that requires you to put time and effort into before you start getting the gains back.

we had some good tussels over the years grimster. We both saviour the prospect of planting each other face down and we both know that if we aint on our game then its lights out...

gotta make use of those timers because without them i got jack shit.. the one thing I will never feel guilty of though is being overpowered because my class is one of the weakest in the game...

the down side of being timer based is also when your timers are down you struggle V anything and everything. It aint all fun and games playing a ranger I can assure you.
